Millions Of Ebola Vaccines To Become Available By Next Year

The World Health Organization has announced that millions of doses of experimental Ebola vaccines will be produced by the end of 2015.
They have said “several hundred thousand” would be produced in the first half of 2015.
The vaccines will first of all be offered to health workers on the frontline in West Africa by December 2014.
WHO has warned that the vaccine won’t be a “magic bullet” for ending the outbreak.

Till date there is still no known cure or vaccine for Ebola. ZMapp does not count. We don’t know what the new Ebola vaccine will be called.
According to BBC, it normally takes years to produce and test a vaccine, but drug manufacturers are now working on a scale of weeks.
